Um dem selbstgewählen Bildungsauftrag mal wieder nachzukommen heute mal etwas mehr als POP!

Das Thema heisst: 1968 - in Anlehnung an die Vortragsreihe “Das Sonntagsgespräch” der Universität Leipzig mit selbigen jahr als Thema in der Vortragreihe 2008/09. Zu Gast sind der Organisator des Sonntagsgesprächs, Dr. Ulrich Brieler und Eiko Kühnert (als quasi Geheimwaffe der Fakecore Show für alle Themen vor 1990). Es wird geredet über Politik, Intelektuelle, Studenten die fast Revolution, Vietnam und natürlich, gan wichtig die subjektiv besten Gassenhauer des Jahres 1968 aus der Sicht der beiden Studiogäste!

Also CD-R Releases sind ja so ne Sache für sich. In diesem Fall weil just zur selben Zeit auch ein “richtiges” HECQ Album auf Hymen erschienen war, im April 2008 um genau zu sein. Aber gehen wir mal die “Golden Pines” EP auf dem Berliner Binkcrsh Label an.
Vier Hecq Trax, die mich persönlich nicht so kicken, aber dennoch guter Shit sind, irgendwo zwischen kickender Elektronika, dunklem Electro und Big Beat Click Hop - eh was solln das sein, weiss ich auch nicht so genau aber so klingts halt, ab und an hört man auch ein paar Fliedrecodings ausm Stadtpark. Aber dann wirds interessanter! Acht Remixer haben sich der Tracks angenommen und da sind gar spannende Werke enstanden. Ich will gar keinen herrausheben, aber wir hören E-Pianos, es dubstept ein bissl, ein geglitche hier und da, es clicks und hoppt und machmal stampft die 909 in industrieller art, wie bei dem Dalezy Remix von Track “Coldfire”. Elektronika wie wir sie seit 10 Jahren nicht mehr brauchen aber gerne hören wiel sie uns an die 90er erinnert, gibts bei Archos und die Hallräume werden ausgelotet bei Modex Third, um am Ende versönlich mit Breaks und gestampfe gute Nacht zu sagen.
Hej, das ist ein echt gutes Release, aber irgendwie so wie vieles was zwei Jahren auf Festplatten rumleiegt bevor man es mal beim abwaschen hört (was natürlich eine Schade ist und nicht auf den Autor zutrifft, der lässt abwaschen!)
